Booked it for 3 days and had a fairly nice experience. A special thanks to pleasant and accommodating staff. We had the double room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. We loved this hotel and would return here when in Wakefield.

Delicious evening meals showcasing local flavors.
Boiler issues resulted in a tepid shower and cool restaurant.

We have stayed at this hotel before so we knew what to expect. As before the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service excellent. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is very good and the meals, breakfast and dinner, were very good.

Warm welcome, clean and tidy. Ample free parking and convenient location.
Not complaining about comfort, as generally this was very good; could have done with a bigger pillow and some extra pillows. Grouting and sealant around shower area could use some bleach, but again not really a complaint as bathroom was very clean and lovely big hot shower.

Location - just off of motorway junction and easy to find. Fair room rates. Friendly reception staff and overall clean appearance of hotel/rooms etc
No toiletries in room - just wall mounted containers (same as Premier Inn) good if they work (more often than not don't). No free WiFi in room - Swisscom rip off at £15 for 24 hours. Expensive meals in bar - start at £12.50 for a curry + £2.50 for naan (nice though) fairly expensive beer at £3.30 for Becks. Not enough milk & sugar in rooms (same everywhere nowadays)

It was just an appropriate option for a brief sojourn in Wakefield with decent value for money. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Make sure to check the heating before you settle in.

Our room was very clean and well designed.
We were on the side of the hotel by the main road with constant traffic noise. You couldn't hear it with the window closed but as we were there in the freak October heat wave, we had to open the window as the room was very stuffy.

We have stayed here several times, I was pleased that this time we got a special rate as it was a late booking. The rooms are always clean and well appointed and the double bed is large and comfy.

I had a comfortable overnight stay with a super cozy double room and enjoyed a lovely full English breakfast, which hit the spot after a long day. The leisure area was perfect for unwinding, with a pool and a cozy TV lounge to relax in. Just a heads up, the alarm testing during breakfast was a bit annoying, but overall, a great experience! 👍

I have used this hotel several times before but I was disappointed this time as there were no towels in the room and a pillow short when we arrived. There was also no face cloth or soap in the room.
